Since 2019, AVC has been dedicated to raising the standard of local volleyball. Our goal is to develop driven athletes to compete with intensity, embrace growth, and take ownership of their development. Through competitive indoor and beach volleyball, we shape resilient leaders who play with purpose and pursue excellence in everything they do.



Coach Misti Woods has been coaching volleyball for seven years and brings energy, passion, and positivity to every practice and match. She loves helping athletes build their skills, confidence, and love for the game. Her coaching philosophy is built around the 3 Ps: Passion, Positivity, and Presence, encouraging athletes to give their best both on and off the court. Outside the gym, Misti is an educator who is passionate about mentoring young people and helping them grow into confident leaders.

Coach Mylee is a kindergarten teacher at James A. Long Elementary School and a dedicated volleyball coach. She played volleyball for 6 years with Palatka High School and Azalea Volleyball Club. After her playing career, she transitioned into coaching and has spent the past 5 years with both programs. Mylee is passionate about helping young athletes grow their skills, build confidence, and develop a love for the game. She enjoys watching players reach their full potential on and off the court.

Coach Chloe works as a Legal Assistant in Family Law at Holmes & Young, P.A. and enjoys coaching/playing volleyball outside of the office. She has played volleyball since 3rd grade, including four years at Palatka High School and 5 years with Azalea. Chloe began coaching with Azalea while she was still a player and has now spent the past 4 years coaching with the program. She enjoys helping young athletes build their skills, grow in confidence, and develop both on and off the court.

Coach Macee played volleyball for 7 years and has been coaching for the past 4. Volleyball has always been a huge part of her life, and she loves getting to share that passion with her players. Her goal as a coach is to help athletes grow in their skills, confidence, and love for the game while creating a positive and supportive team environment.

Coach Walker has been coaching volleyball for the past three years and loves bringing positive energy to the gym every day. He enjoys helping players improve their skills, build confidence, and compete as a team. His main goal in coaching is to encourage players to work hard and keep getting better. In addition to volleyball, Coach Walker has also coached high school soccer, which has helped shape his focus on teamwork, effort, and supporting athletes both on and off the court.

Coach Kaedi played volleyball for four years at Interlachen High School before continuing her career at St. Johns River State College for 2 seasons and then another season at AMU. She has coached with AVC for 3 years and currently coaches JV while assisting Varsity at her alma mater, IHS. Kaedi loves coaching with AVC because it allows her to give back to the community she grew up in while helping athletes grow their skills and confidence on the court.

Coach Vanessa is the Head Volleyball Coach at Hawthorne Middle High School and has been coaching at AVC Volleyball Club for the past two years. She played all four years of her high school volleyball career at Interlachen High School, where her love for the game began. Vanessa considers coaching a true blessing and is passionate about helping young athletes grow both on the court and in their personal lives.

Coach Zach has been an assistant coach at Hawthorne for the past year and recently joined Azalea Volleyball Club. He is excited for many more seasons with both programs and is passionate about helping athletes grow and improve their skills. Coach Zach enjoys the discipline the game of volleyball brings and loves bringing enthusiasm and energy to the court while helping players become the best version of themselves.

Coach Jenna grew up playing volleyball and developed a strong love for the game at a young age. She played all throughout her childhood and played volleyball for 4 years at Palatka High School. Jenna coaches Junior High volleyball at PHS and is passionate about helping young athletes grow their skills and confidence on the court. She is excited to be a part of the AVC coaching crew!
